Television audiences may be familiar with him as Michael Hudson on NBC-TV’s “Another World”, Sam Rappaport on ABC-TV’s “One Life To Live”, and Dr. Miles Berman on NBC’s “Days of Our Lives”. He starred on CBS-TV's “Mr. & Mrs. & Mr.” the ABC-TV movie “Woman On The Ledge”, and an award-winning NBC-TV Afternool Special, “The Color Game”. His numerous guest appearances include episodes of “Cold Case”, “Without A Trace”, “Law and Order”, “JAG”, “!Huff!”, “Strong Medicine”, “Boston Public”, “Dr. Vegas”, "L.A. Law", "Hill Street Blues", "Knot's Landing", "Dallas", and "Dynasty" . Feature film roles include Vince Dawkin in “‘Til There Was You”, Larry in “Losin’ It”, Kenny Higgins in "Scruples", District Attorney Smith in “Prophet of Evil”, Steve McAuliffe in “Challenger”; Weiss in "Die Trying" and Governor White in "Half Past Dead"., two straight-to-video kick-boxing epics. Kale's New York theatrical experiences include the role of Arthur A. Robertson in the New York Signature Theater revival of Arthur Miller's “The American Clock”, with Mr. Miller Artist-in-Residence; the title role in Los Angeles' Matrix Theater’s world premiere of “The Strawberry Man”; Thom in Tom Dulak's “With Friends Like These” directed by Christopher Hart at the Mammoth Theater Festival; and understudying the role of Brick in the American Shakespeare Festival revival of “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” with Tennessee Williams Artist-in-Residence. Other experience includes La Mama ETC and The Roundabout Theater in New York, the California Shakespeare Festival, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, and San Diego National Shakespeare Festival; roles include Flavius Maximus in "The Fall of Masada", Lucentio in Taming of The Shrew, Lysander in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Cassio in Othello and the Gentleman Caller in The Glass Menagerie, Willis in Michael Weller's "Moonchildren", directed by Karen Allen, Joan Ackermann's "Staying Afloat" and A.R. Gurney’s “Indian Blood” at Ms. Ackermann's theater, Mixed Company, as well as staged readings with the Berkshire Playwrights Lab and Berkshire Theater Festival. He directed and acted in Stephen Blatz' adaptation of the 1936 musical "Yidl Mitn Fidl" at the Berkshire International Film Festival. Recent work includes Arnold Burns in "A Thousand Clowns".
